You get to bypass picking up your bags -- you go straight to the hotel and your bags are delivered to your room. For your return flight you can do your boarding pass and check in before you even leave the hotel. Now that is convenience! Another advantage is the super-easy transportation between all the theme parks, as well as all the other Disney resort hotels. No parking or traffic worries! I want to emphasize this -- the inter-park transportation was a life saver when I recently staye
When you first walk in to the Summertime Dine, you take a picture with Donald. Donald is dressed for the beach in his lifeguard gear and the backdrop is super cute.
ReplyDeleteAfter taking a picture with Donald, you’re led to your table. The characters for Minnie’s Summertime Dine are Donald, Minnie, Goofy, Mickey, and Daisy.
The characters are the same for all of the Seasonal Dines, but the costumes change to reflect the seasonal theme. I thought the characters were super cute for this one. In my opinion, the you just can’t beat the looks from the Holiday Dine, but the Summertime Dine are by far my second favorite ones. I was actually glad to get a picture of them in their summertime duds.
I have always loved Hollywood and Vine, and I have had some mixed feelings about the menu for these seasonal dines. Some have been better than others, but I’m sorry to say I was not impressed with this one. The menu was my least favorite so far.
Some of the new menu items included a Peach Glazed Barbecue Pork, Baked Buffalo Chicken, Cheese Ravioli, Spinach and Arugala Strawberry Salad, Strawberry Pearl Cheesecake, and Peach Cream Puffs.
